ABOUT THE FIRST ANNUAL

PUBLISHED IN PARTNERSHIP WITHE GECKO PRESS 2016

What’s in an annual? Everything. What’s in our Annual?

A song, a map, animals under attack
Stories, puzzles, a plastic minaret
Poems, rhymes, a robot who longs to cry
And one unlucky zebra.

Annual contains all-new material from some of New Zealand’s best writers and illustrators. There are also new names you won’t recognise.

We think of this book as intrepid. It’s fearless and adventurous. There’s something for every kind of reader, in any kind of mood.

Maybe your grandparents found something similar in their Christmas stocking. Ask them about it.

Like Christmas, Annual will be annual. The golden age has returned.
